Before you dive deeper, please note the following key points:
- This is a full-time, fully remote contractor role
- We are seeking someone preferably with a background in creative production, project management, or traffic/ops within a video or content team
- Although the role is remote, the candidate must be available to overlap with core team working hours
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a project management, traffic, or production coordination role within a creative or video production environment
- Sharp eye for detail - able to catch grammar, spelling, and copy errors as reliably as technical spec errors
- Strong working knowledge of technical asset specs (file size/weight, format, dimensions, duration) and how to QC against them
- Comfortable managing multiple pods or workstreams simultaneously without dropping details
- Experience keeping revision cycles on track and holding turnaround standards steady through absences or volume spikes
- Strong organizational instincts around file structures, folder access, and working file management
- Clear, fast, proactive communicator - able to unblock a team without waiting on a scheduled check-in
- Bonus: experience covering or floating across multiple teams/pods in a scaling production environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as second set of eyes on outgoing creative assets, QCing for grammar, spelling, and technical specs (size, format, weight, duration)
- Manage day-to-day pod operations, tracking revisions daily and maintaining consistent turnaround standards through absences or spikes in volume
- Handle daily routing and pod support - resolving missing working files, unclear B-roll direction, folder access issues, and general questions
- Act as first point of contact for pod-level blockers, routing anything unresolved to the right owner quickly
- Maintain organized, accessible file structures and working files across pods
- Provide day-to-day operational coverage for additional pods as the team scales, ramping quickly on each pod's specific workflows and stakeholders
