Happy Mammoth is a fast-growing natural food tech business selling across Australia, the EU, and the United States. We specialize in formulating, producing, and marketing gut, digestive, and microbiome health foods and natural supplements designed to help our clients make long-lasting positive health changes and live fuller, healthier lives.

As our eCommerce operations continue to grow, we are building a talent pool of experienced Shopify developers who may collaborate with us on future projects.

We are particularly interested in developers with strong technical depth in Shopify and proven experience working within high-performing eCommerce environments.

Potential collaborations may include freelance, project-based, or full-time contractor opportunities, depending on upcoming needs.


What You Might Work On

Depending on the project, responsibilities may include:

  • Building high-converting product pages, landing pages, and advertorials using GemPages

  • Ensuring pages are fully responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile

  • Implementing Figma designs with pixel-perfect accuracy (spacing, typography, layout)

  • Integrating dynamic and region-specific elements with proper localization

  • Applying eCommerce conversion best practices and identifying UX improvements

  • Performing advanced Shopify development, including theme customization, custom components, and app integrations

  • Troubleshooting technical issues across Shopify themes and applications

  • Supporting integration of third-party tools, tracking systems, and scripts

  • Improving development systems for scalability and efficiency


What We're Looking For

We are interested in developers who have:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Shopify development in D2C/B2C eCommerce

  • Experience building pages using GemPages and Shopify

  • Solid knowledge of Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and conversion optimization

  • Experience implementing Figma design handoffs with high precision

  • Ability to build clean, scalable development structures

  • Strong problem-solving skills within the Shopify ecosystem

  • Excellent communication and an ownership-driven mindset

Experience working with multi-region Shopify stores is a plus.
